According to Informa’s predictions, nearly 30 percent of the world’s wireless connections are going to be using 3G or higher wireless broadband technologies and by 2014, nearly half of the world’s 6.7 billion mobile users will be using some combination of 3G and 3.5G+ technologies and about 33 percent of the total mobile users will be using 3.5 G+ technologies such as WiMAX and LTE.
